=========================================================

Quite cold-hardy, Graptopetalum paraguayense (Ghost Plant) is a small evergreen succulent forming 4 in. wide rosettes (10cm) of fleshy, pointed, flat, grayish white, opalescent leaves. The foliage warms up to pinkish-yellow in hot, dry conditions and turns blue-gray in partial shade. The small rosettes grow at the tips of ever-lengthening stems, that become pendant over time and cascade beautifully. In spring, it produces dainty sprays of star-shaped yellow flowers. Vigorous, Ghost Plant offsets readily and will eventually create a low spreading colony. A very attractive plant for groundcovers, in hanging baskets, containers or for spilling over walls.

Grows up to 1 ft. tall (60 cm) and 2-3 ft. wide (60-90 cm).

Easily grown in sandy, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun or light shade. Best color is obtained in full sun. Thrives in heat and tolerates drought when established. Little irrigation required.

Excellent for rock gardens, succulent gardens or Mediterranean gardens. Perfect for containers where spectacular floral arrangements can be created.

Deer resistant

Virtually disease free. Watch for mealybugs, vine weevil and aphids

Propagate by stem or leaf cuttings in spring or early summer. Separate offsets in spring

Native to Mexico
